Simba was the start of it all.  He came to stay with us for a "short period" in 2001 and has just never left!!  When it was decided to get back into the show ring it was Simba's character that drew us to look for another Shar Pei.  Born in 1996, Simba is a great specimen for his age and is a living example that Pei's can live a long and productive life. (Not that Simba has ever produced!)

Simba enjoyed sleeping in his favorite bed, snooping in the garden, checking what the girls were up to and woofing at strangers.  His eye sight faded somewhat, but the nose and ears worked very well right to the end.  Simba made occasional guest appearances on the side line at shows and enjoyed the attention of many.

Simba is off chasing bunnies in the sky now and awaits us to join him in crossing the rainbow bridge...........
